Company profile
OZ Maritime is a specialised marine safety and ship supply company providing class-approved LSA, FFE, lifeboat, liferaft, load test, calibration, analysis and radio survey services to commercial vessels and superyachts.
The company was formally established in 2012 and builds on professional experience in marine safety dating back to 1990, when our founder entered the industry. Our head office and main workshops are in Tuzla, Istanbul, and our European centre is in the Netherlands.
We are not a broker who subcontracts the work and forwards the certificate. Our engineers do the job, our workshops do the testing, our name is on the report.
How we got here
Our founder enters the marine safety industry.
The foundations of OZ Maritime are laid.
Official operations begin with the first fully equipped service facility in Tuzla, Istanbul.
Approved by IACS member classification societies for LSA and FFE services.
Second service station established in Iskenderun.
European expansion. OZ Maritime Europe B.V. established in the Netherlands.
Ecoexhaust, NK / The Safety, Lalizas and Arimar partnerships.
Services available in the ports of New York and New Jersey through the partner network. BIMCO, ISSA, IMPA and TURSSA memberships.
Continued development of digital service coordination and customer documentation.
The engineers are the company
Everything we sell depends on whether the person who climbs into the CO2 room knows what to look for. Our technicians are trained by the manufacturers, certified under the frameworks the work requires, and kept on the payroll rather than hired per job. That is expensive, and it is the only way the report means anything.
